my money is on a PPV event, no DVD, but a Blu-ray later in mid 2010.
from nick,
i guess if there is still a chance this year for a dvd shoot, it would have to be the rose bowl
This leg, they've started to move away from a fixed definition of a 'safe' setlist... and God only knows what the setlist will look like this time next year, especially if SOA comes out in the meantime.
I just hope that whatever gets released is sourced from one full show rather than multiple shows spliced together. And no studio edits or 'fix ups' either please.
They ... have? They've just been shuffling around the same old songs at the start of the main set a bit, and apart from ditching Pride, nothing has changed from UF onwards.
Looks like it could be another US shot DVD, from Willies diary
"It's an entirely different experience from up there and in terms of the spectacle in many ways it's a better vantage point than from lower down. We moved around the building a good deal during the show, which was really fun as well as being highly educational. We're going to be shooting this show some time soon, so it's crucial to understand how it looks from all angles and really the only way to do this properly is to get on yer boots and tramp around the stadium. I really enjoy being in amongst the audience anyway - especially looking back at a section of seats when I know something special is about to happen to see people's reactions. It's a real privilege to bring so much happiness to some many people at one time."
Hi everyone,
Is there any information available about the upcoming tour dvd? I heard rumours that the Wembley shows were taped?
Thanks in advance

Thanks for your reply. Didn't know it was the BBC taping. I'm familiar with the recording by U2 themselves tough. They were filmed by the BBC, but not for a DVD, I believe. All U2 shows are recorded to some degree, by U2 internally, using the normal screen cameras and the like, for archival purposes.
Thought they'd be waiting until the US/Euro/Aussie leg next year, with potential SOA songs in the setlist.
That said Ultraviolet and Crazy tonight will make the cut.
