Director Rian Johnson came out with some spoilery stuff today about the first scene of Ep VIII.

Episode VIII: The Last Jedi

All it makes me think of is;

The title is too basic to be bad, though I do prefer Lucas's pulpier choices.

A little odd, though, considering Rey is basically a Jedi at this point. That makes two.

True but isn't Jedi used as a plural as well? It can refer to the two of them as the "last" Jedi.

The Phantom Menace has the distinction of being the worst of the movies but with the most intriguing and illustrative title. Other than that and A New Hope which isn't bad I don't think any of the films have very good titles so this is just whatever. But come on, The Last Jedi is so bad.
