sorry if this is not the correct forum to post this in but its off topic so i figured it would be ok...

anyways

yesterday the second trailer for this game was released and i for one am impressed, its all shaping up to be even better than the other two games - escapism is a wonderful thing

in just over a month its due out

anyone interested should check out

http://www.gtasanandreas.net/news/index.php

for latest news and info

and the official site (where the trailer and map and stuff is) -

http://www.rockstargames.com/sanandreas/

next year i think its coming out for the xbox , and before that the pc .

guess they have to reprogram it - it should be worth the wait tho - it looks so cool

cooler than a snomans coldbits infact

PC rocks, I am still waiting for Duke Nukem Forever though

Since 1997 I have waited, November 98 release and still in development, follow the many shifts for a laugh at why us Duke fans are the ones stuck in the past.

Argh Brossard, rock the world!

i saw it the other day in big w when i was buying the sims.

was it an empty box promo or something? i was going to pick it up and investigate.

Oh simmage, Sims2 right, is it any good - I dont want to loose that masculine edge that Doom III provides.

haha i wasnt getting sims 2. i got the deluxe other one with vacation, house party and some other one and the original all in one.

i will buy sims2 when its cheaper.

the site updates been pretty good

ive been drooling over the potential of this game for a long time

man mount chilliad looks awesome - and those clouds in the plane screen shots *sighs*

u can gamble in vegas
u can park cars in san francisco (ok not terribly exciting)
and sit in the woods (careful!) just like a bear

this is probably going to be even bigger than the other 2 - the biggest game in video game history potentially

San Andreas is an entire state, featuring three cities, each equal in size to Vice City... Los Santos (Los Angeles), San Fiero (San Francisco), Las Venturas (Las Vegas)... and also features the countryside in between the three cities. Included in the countryside is Mt. Chiliad, which Rockstar officials claim would take your character 15 real time minutes to climb by foot. All in all, the game is estimated to be 6 times the size of GTA: Vice City. A train system runs between the three cities and countryside. You can fly jets and helicopters. You have to eat and work out. If you eat too much, your character becomes fat. This game is in fact the most ambitious video game ever created.

its gonna be pretty interesting getting to the top then finding the quickest route to the bottom;)

and i heard theres a bike race down the mountain - that should be pretty fun;)

I can't wait until the game comes out. I should of pre-ordered it! I bet it will be the biggest selling game of the year.

Welcome to the jungle(gnr song) is in the game:drool:

i saw a tv ad for gta sa and welcome to the jungle was played.

man just get the game for th song . driving around blasting gnr.

sweet child o mine is on there too.

i also got this little info
"AXL ROSE
Our favorite piece of San Andreas trivia is Axl's presence in the game. He is the voice of K-DST DJ Tommy "The Nightmare" Smith and plays classic rock while bitching about his days as a rock star and lamenting the state of modern rock bands."

Best of all, apparently there will be no load time in the game, the entire game is open for exploration from the start and you're free to roam I guess.

you're free to roam but if you go somewhere that you haven't "opened up" yet, you get an automatic 4 star rating and have a shit load of cops on your ass  just what I hear.

and yes shaun vox, axl rose is in the game as one of the DJs... that's been confirmed by R*... Samuel L. Jackson is also a voice in the game, as is Charlie Murphy from Chapelle's Show (Eddie Murphy's brother... I'm Rick James Bitch fame)... I have a list on page 1 detailing most of the voice overs in the game. some of them are STILL secret even though anyone who pre-ordered the game at Gamespot/Babbages or Electronics Boutique can pick it up tommorow after 7pm... I will be at my local babbages at 7 on the button... with bells on, and I have off from work Tuesday (dorkus i am) :hyper::reject:

also... it's been confirmed that for the first time in GTA history there will be an optional 2 player mode, which will be unlocked within the first few stories of the game. :hyper:

I'm more interested in Bard's Tale and KOTOR2. Oh and Metroid Prime 2. Loved MKD. Never big on GTA.

:reject:

GTA: vice city wasn't too bad, but the multiplayer was really buggy.

Bard's Tale! That brings back memories, I played that on the Commodore 64. You never saw your group of characters, it was first person group. And there was text that would tell what was happening.

Have you heard about the remake? It's voiced by CARRY ELWES! It looks hilarious, and the engine is apparantly pretty solid, too.

Ya, I saw some gameplay videos. same view as diablo. I could get into it, but I'm holding out for World of Warcraft
