Hi,

Travelling from the UK for the Oct 27th & 28th shows.

Went against the Trip Advisor bad reviews and with the forum advice and booked four nights at The Linq.

Thanks for all the input !

you forgot to include the Flamingo in your hotel list again. and again, i highly recommend it.

i stayed there in 2019, the location is nearly perfect (about half a mile walk to the sphere if you go out the back door), the price was significantly better than the other big hotels all around it (ie caesars/paris/bellagio), and their basic room was newly updated and pretty large, relatively speaking. i was there in the middle of winter but it seems like the pool would be pretty awesome too when it's open.
Hey, I can fix it now, so I fixed it.

I just booked The Flamingo, but now I'm looking at the Linq and see in and out burger in that picture... But I can cancel Flamingo hotel up to oct 2nd...

So did I fuck up? I was excited that it seemed "near" Sphere 19 minutes walk -- which may be an impossible walk as it may not be accessiblie?

But Flamingo was 252 for 2 nights, I'm going to Thursday oct 5th show, so Wed, Thursday, Check out Friday i assume is cheaper..

Listen I mumble my words. I can't pronounce Mary the right way I guess my Bostonness makes it sound like Marry as in TO GET MARRIED... but this guy is saying SPEAR right and not SPHERE with an F sound? Like the fucking shape? sfeer...

Anyway the video was cool as I haven't seen a better inside shot myself.

Looking at that shot from the top down makes me glad I didn't get 400 level seats.
Looks like it could be very high up and very steep looking down at the stage.

GA all the way (achtung) baby.

In and Out Burger is in the Linq Promenade - which is located between The Linq and Flamingo.

You're good.

Thanks. I realized after it was fine.

Still assume it’s walkable to sphere.

Same price so I can switch it as being closer to food might be good for me.

This has been my fear the whole time. It’s the Slope not the Sphere.

Anyone who flies a lot of tips? I live in Ct now fly Avelo to Florida from bew haven a dream.

Right now for jet blue flight from jfk to Vegas but getting to jfk is always expensive traffic random. I haven’t done it in long time which travels for work.

I saw breeze airways fly’s from Hartford which is an hour away but less likely to hit traffic. But some of those flights were layovers.

I’ve flown like 10 times in 20 years. I lived in nyc at the times I last fly to La and Vegas using virgin airways! I love smaller airlines and airports.

Maybe flying to ft launderdale and then to Vegas is easier and cheaper.

you'll get more direct flights from the major hubs, obviously. so you'd probably want to start there.

if you are doing a connection - also best to find a flight that connects out of a major hub - so that if there's an issue that causes you to miss your connection it's easier for the airline to put you on another plane the same day.

probably also a good idea to fly earlier in the day if you need to connect. if you get a connecting flight at night and you end up missing a connection there's a good chance you're going to be stuck there overnight.

google flights has actually become quite good - but i always set up alerts on skiplagged with my dates and prices.

Flamingo to Venetian is very walkable. my guess is that the entrance to this thing will be through the convention center - which is behind the Venetian Casino floor... but they haven't really put a ton of info out on that just yet.

Looking at things to do in Vegas, does anyone know which show is better, Thunder Down Under or Magic Mike Live?
