    Presale/General Sale Discussion - Australia/New Zealand

Well Ticketek screwed up for me big time this presale. I still have 2 unused, untouched passcodes left, but when I entered each one into the box, it said both were invalid. I tried so many times, but kept getting the invalid notification. Phoned both Ticketek and the Aussie U2 fan club and in...

    Presale/General Sale Discussion - Australia/New Zealand

You can use each ticket presale code for one transaction, one show, one seat type. So you can buy 4 P1 tickets for Sydney, or 4 GA for Sydney. Not 2 P1 and 2 GA for Sydney. You also can't buy 2 P1 for Sydney and 2 GA for Melbourne. All ticket selections must be the same venue and same ticket...

    Presale/General Sale Discussion - Australia/New Zealand

They put on extra trains and buses for big concerts at Homebush, or at least they did for the Vertigo shows. Have a look at the time tables closer to the date and you should see them rescheduled. Don't forget your U2 tickets cover public transport costs.

    Foxboro 1, Setlist Party 9/20/09

I got to the party about half way through and haven't said anything, just sat back and enjoyed. This was especially nice for me, as I have a friend at tonight's concert. In a small way, being here felt like I shared a little of his great experience at the concert tonight. Thanks for making...

Led Zeppelin Survivor: final draw - round 10

Yup ..... well with a little added extra, but now they're just being plain mean :grumpy::wink: So what is it you have against SIBLY anyway? Give a reason for your vote, so at last we can understand your lapse of insanity. Good Times Bad Times isn't in the same league as these others ...

Led Zeppelin Survivor: final draw - round 9

I can't in good conscience vote for 3 of the 4 songs selected so far ..... they're just too damn good to be eliminated, which leaves Tangerine hhmmmm I'm going out on my own, being non tactical, choosing my least favourite of the songs remaining and voting Good Times Bad Times

Led Zeppelin Survivor: final draw - round 8

I've been waiting to see how the voting went, so I could add my vote to something that would save what I think are songs that deserve to go further, but I can't put this off any longer. Not my first choice for elimination, nor is it my least favourite song amongst this group but, so be it ...

Led Zeppelin Survivor: final draw - round 8

You're right about the reason these classic songs were played at just about every concert ..... because they were freakin great. Dazed and Confused was the most played song in their live concert history .... setlisted on a total of 207 known live recordings from 1969 until they stopped...

Led Zeppelin Survivor: final draw - round 8

Totally agree, especially after wandering in here this morning and seeing the voting so far in this round. I felt like I was in the NfuckinSYNC forum ...... huh, Robert Plant who? oh yeah, he's the guy from that Stairway band aarrgghhhhhhhhhhhhh :mad::grumpy:

Led Zeppelin Survivor: final draw - round 7

I can't choose In My Time Of Dying yet, because I love the Page and Bonham intro, so hhmmmm .... What Is and What Should Never Be gets my vote this time

If you could bring a dead rock star back to life

If it was for one gig only, I wouldn't hesitate to bring back Mister John Bonham .... to reunite with Led Zeppelin and play Madison Square Garden    If it was to continue on with their career .... Jeff Buckley. His brilliance was only just starting to emerge, he was so...

Led Zeppelin Survivor: final draw - round 6

Coldplay - Viva La Vida - ongoing discussion

I admit i'm not a Cold Play fan, but with all the hype surrounding this album I thought I'd give it a listen. Maybe its one of those albums that need to be listened to a few times, but I found it a real effort to even get through some of the tracks. Slow, boring, monotonous, same ol same ol...

Led Zeppelin Survivor: final draw - round 3

There's a few songs I'd put down the lower end of this list. The Rover is one of them, but I really like Bonzo's lead in drums and the ballsiness of the tune, so I'm staying clear of it at this stage. I'm voting The Ocean, even though I like the opening, once the song gets going I lose...

Led Zeppelin Survivor: final draw - round 2

Not even in the same league as most of these other classics. Hey Hey What Can I do ...... bow your head and get thee out of here
  21. S

Led Zeppelin Survivor: final draw - round 1

I totally agree, except for the "bordering" part. It is absolutely ludicrous ..... almost sacrilege.
  22. S

Led Zeppelin Survivor: rarities - round 3

You already know my favourite here, so i'm voting out Hey Hey Looks like its going to be close
  23. S

Led Zeppelin Survivor: rarities - round 2

I think this round is all sown up and needs the mercy rule

Led Zeppelin Survivor: rarities - round 1

I really like Travelling Riverside Blues and I hope it goes through to the finals. The song was orginally written in the 30's by Robert Johnson but totally rearranged by Zeppelin. It was orginally recorded in '69 at the BBC Studios, so its really a 'Live at the BBC' track .... still, I think it...

Led Zeppelin Survivor: Coda - round 5

Nope, its a bit too 'commercially pop' sounding for me, especially when Plant & Page performed it in their later tours. If anything, I prefer We're Gonna Groove than Wearing and Tearing, but I went with an already existing vote to hurry this album along.
