    SOE promo tour/promo activities

Why do I get the feeling everyone is gonna forget about this song even if they like it or hate it by next week. I'm sure on tour no one is going to care about it either when they get the balls to play it live...even more ballsy, they decide to open their shows with it.

Fair enough there. But I am trying to decide which song is worse. American Soul or Get On Your Boots?

And changing the lyrics as well. 'You and I are rock and roll?"....you left that on the shelf for 3 years and thought it was a good idea to release that? and they say Little More Better on the Showman? there isn't a grammar teacher alive who wouldn't call you out on saying the phrase More...

Ok I could barely stand the American Soul performance. It was so bad, my wife who has only seen U2 live twice because of me, compared to the 7 times I have seen them, called out Bono for using the megaphone again. If someone who has barely seen you perform is already calling that out, you know...

    6/23 – Toronto, ON – Rogers Centre

It seems that bands touring and playing their entire album in order, is something that has been around for awhile. I never thought U2 would be one of those bands that would step back and do it, but low and behold, they did it with their most famous record The Joshua Tree. It is not even my...

It's not even that, the Rogers Centre configuration is quite strange, compared to the rest of the venues on this tour, which are pretty much football fields. Concert setups at RC are baseball config. So from my experience at 360, I was amazed how much room was on the floor, and to roam around...

I guess being in the presale paid off, managed to get 2 GAs in that sale. I didn't think this show would sell out that quickly. Maybe there wasn't that many left for the public sale. As I check now there are no pairs available. I'm sure there will be GAs that pop up between now and the gig. Keep...

Had GAs. I have seen them on every tour since Elevation and I'd say this show I'd rank at number 2 for me. Vertigo night 1 at ACC is still my top show, and was at the tip of the elipse for that one. The guys still have their energy and put on a very great show. A lot better than I thought it...

    TICKET DROPS thread

I saw some GAs maybe half hour ago for TO#1. Was tempting to buy one for tonight but I will save for tomorrow evening. Have 2 GAs for that one. Good luck to everyone!

Pulling up single GAs for tonight's show. Go get em people! surprised really that these shows didn't sell out and yet I can't get a damn Foo Fighters ticket.

As far as I know people for GA have already started lining up. I am going to tomorrow's show and have GAs for that. My fiance is short so I hope we can find a decent spot on the floor that she can see the show. Has anyone been able to get a rough time when the band has been coming on stage...

I think they may not have any idea until they actually arrive here and do the setup. Given that there are only 2 shows here instead of 3-4 like everywhere else on this tour chances may not be as high.

Put me down for #18 on the 2nd show :) I don't think U2 will add any more shows here given it took awhile for the 2 shows to sell out which is pretty odd even for here. But if you look around other cities quite a few shows are still not sold out either but they're probably like 90% full.
