I still remember when I arrived the morning of Joshua Tree tour show in 2017. A guy and his girlfriend followed the venue procedure and arrived at the meeting point around the time they said over the phone. The venue allowed them to be up front, and the "List" people tore into them as we walked to where security asked us to line up, saying "they were there before" them and how dumb they were for not knowing "the way" it's supposed to go at U2 shows. It was so stupid.

I felt bad for the guy and went up to him later to apologize for how those people treated them. He was so appreciative he gave me a hug. I just... ugh, it shouldn't be this hard almost every show!

This is exactly what happened to me and my wife in Foxboro. I was hoping to avoid the stupidity this time, but I guess a U2 tour and line nazis go together like gin and tonic.

Mixer is playing Smells Like Teen Spirit right now, which seems to keep up with the 1991 theme. Seems like he’s playing a healthy variety though. Drive My Car by The Beatles, Funky Town, a Salome remix.
