So...the inevitable thread is here to compare the two albums. It makes sense to compare them as they are companion albums and one follows the other! It’s very early days with SOE, so ranking it in U2’s catalogue is impossible at the moment. However i think most people should be able to compare...

If any song from SOE deserves its own thread, it’s this one in my opinion. This could really turn into an all time U2 classic and is currently one of the standout songs from the album. I love the build up to the end of the song. It’s one of those epic U2 moments.

I’ve only ever come across the the piano version of EBW live. Has the band ever performed the album version since SOI was released? Is there a video?

Thought I'd start a thread to discuss where we think the live DVD will be for this tour (assuming they release one). U2 as we all know, always release a live DVD for each tour they do. So what show/location do people think it will be for this tour? Croke Park seems a good bet.
