Adam Clayton signature Fender bass amp

Adam is making out like a bandit at Fender. They've made a few bass guitars for him and now a bass amp. They aren't cheap but they are pretty great amps. $2,199. A few of the tribute Adam's online have posted some pics and videos. All say they are pretty happy with their purchase. It's good...

    Edge's Les Paul Customs Experts

What we know about the clone, from interviews, is that it looks exactly like the auctions 1975 -- To the point that Dallas was unsure when it was delivered to him. We also know that while it looked exactly like it, it was said that it didn't sound exactly like it. Will it still be used? I...

    An Strat Donn (Brown)?

Mystery solved? Perhaps. A fellow from the U2 Stage and Studio FB group sent the link below. It is from the Met Museum exhibit. It looks like the brown Stratocaster in the French NYD video might be the 1976 walnut brown Stratocaster that was re-painted black. It has brass saddles. Title...

Edge's gear in the 80s (especially late 80s)

Edge also went from his usual 70’s Strats plus the 60’s tobacco to using the Danvel Nelson S-type. That was as he felt Strats had weak bridge pickups. He’d tried the various replacement we’ve read about (Duncan 1/4 pound...) This is the all black Strat-like guitar seen on Streets in Rattle...

Adam interview in Geddy Lee’s Book Of Bass

Geddy Lee (Rush) has a great new book called Geddy Lee’s Big Beautiful Book Of Bass. Loads of pix and stories about his bass collection, history of bass guitar and manufactures and interviews with some musicians — Asking how they came to play bass and their collections. Fun stuff. Lots of...

Interference used to be fun. Seems now there is a lot of misguided hate, judgement and bitterness. Shame, that.

    Adam's Thunderbird basses

I stand corrected. Seems the Thunderbird gott some use during Love Town too. Here’s some Love Town footage I’d not previously seen. This from Opening night of the tour, in Perth. Streets is interesting, about 11-12 mins into the video. Edge is playing a red Clapton Strat, which he later...

    An Strat Burgundy

Edge has issues with the Inca Silver Sustainer Start during WOWY at CHI 2 on Sunday. Dallas swapped swiftly swapped it out for a burgundy mist Sustainer Stratocaster. Custom built as a backup or a prototype for an Edge II Signature Sustainer? Uncertain. LINK BELOW https://youtu.be/xoUL3oQ4wA8

    It's GA "line" shenanigan time!

The RB was organized because of the half dozen fans that had been working with U2 security and RB venue staff for a week to assure that 2009 didn't repeat itself. The folks that started and maintained the RB lines should be thanked for their efforts, not maligned. But hey, haters gonna hate.

It was smooth. Lines were smooth. Venue staff handled things smooth. I was there in `09 when it was a 'cluster*&^'. Those that want to complain about lines and folks that ran them, those same people you complain about are the one's that assured shit ran smooth. They worked with U2 staff and...
