I have to say that so giggle at this blatant lie every time I come here
“The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2. “
This is the locals only dive bar in some touristy place.
Someone hit me up with the fat Bono beach picture, please. I am trying to show my husband why Bono looking like this is a huge deal. Plus you know you love to trot it out.
All these pictures were nice to see. My friend who is there also sent me pictures of the Trabby at Zoo Station. All 4 of them signed it, with Bram making a very cute drum kit. The lowlight was seeing Bono writing "6 oclock in the morning your the last to hear the warning"
Thankfully...
That is the one I have. Had to wash it in cold water and leave a post it on the washer to fish it out so it would not go in the dryer. Seems fine for now, but I am sure I will eventually forget and have it become useless.
I got the tee with Astro baby, the hoodie with the spheres in the back, coasters, ornament and guitar picks over 3 trips. In 20 years, I have bought the above, one tour book and a vertigo key chain (plus the yearly fan club membership).
I have not done any wristbanding at Sphere. Only did one true GA. We got there at 6:20ish and got to the back of the line and we were one off the rail in Adam's side. But that was early October.
My point really is that who knows if putting in the extra two hours or so (say 45 minutes in AM for...
Some people will just tell you, show up at 7:30 PM and you can still be 3 off the rail... and that may be true if you are willing to be far off to the side. The floor has been getting more and more packed earlier.
It is not BS. You could just show up at 8:00 AM and get on the back of the line and will be issued a wrist band by the venue. The bigger question is whether that wrist band is going to get you a significantly better spot than you would get if you just got in line at 6:00 PM for doors at 6:30...
No one has confirmed if it was anyone from the usual U2 source camp or not. For all we know it was just some Irish DJ reading from the Daily Mail. I mean, it would be really cool of the fan fic write up of Larry comes out at the end of the show, Bram hands the sticks to him and Larry plays the...
Yes, Bono mentioned it at both shows. I was afraid the extra cameras were going to be intrusive, but frankly if he hadn’t mentioned it, you wouldn’t have known anything was different. At least not from my vantage point. Just saw the same cameras as before.
Should add that it makes sense if one goes in person and declines the lower number because the person does not want to do a shift. Shady as hell if the top 20 are reserved for people not on site yet, in exchange for the lower number and a shift.
