(I'm all for hanging with Nick Cave though...now there's a duet I'd like to see)
Thanks for that.
Well, I didn't have any 'contacts', I just reached out to the bands' management teams directly. So, they wouldn't be able to help in terms of U2.
I'm sure it was much easier in the days of Principle Management, you would just go straight to them. Bit more tricky to work out...
Hey everyone, I was just wondering any of you have had any contact with the band's management or press agent recently?
Reason I ask is that in my spare time I organise and host album listening events in London and, as they've started to become more popular, I've been able to invite along some...
My Dad is what you would call a 'lapsed U2 fan' and isn't familiar with much of their post-Achtung Baby work at all. As a Christmas gift I thought I would make a compressed 'Songs of Innocence and Experience' album for him, combining what I consider to be the highlights of the two albums...
My absolute dream for the (a) next album would be for them to, as has been suggested before, hole up in a studio for 6-12 months and turn something out without caring about providing a 'hit single' or appealing to the masses.
Obviously it would be great if they collaborated with the dream team...
I listened to American Soul for the first time this morning, and unfortunately this is the first thing that came to mind when I heard the main riff....
(Apologies in advance.)
Hi guys,
Looking for 1 GA ticket for the gig in London on the 8th July.
If anyone has x2 GAs for the 9th July instead, I'd be very keen to buy those.
Thanks all!
Hi guys, I'm going with some friends to the show on the 8th, but would love to be able to take my new girlfriend to the show on the 9th if anyone has a couple of spare tickets?
Thanks a lot!
Michael
Does anyone know whether they are in London at the moment then or will he be phoning in? My place of work is literally 2 mins away the BBC building :hyper:
No, that's not so. Did you not see the Q interview with them around the time of NLOTH, where Larry made some very pointed remarks about Bono hanging out with 'war criminals - Bush and Blair'?? His comments received some fairly widespread coverage. I'd say that was definitely him sticking his...
I can assure you, in the UK its pretty much the first thing anyone will throw at you if U2 are mentioned.
It doesn't really bother me anymore; my attitude is, I like them and quite frankly I couldn't care less whether anyone else does or not.
I disagree with your point about them thinking...
