Just came across this on Spotify. Released today (Sept 10th) I think we are close to some sort of announcement for the box set! ??
All because of you and Gloria now thrown into the mix!
The former is incredibly random but those are two proper hard hitting U2 rockers that I certainly wouldn’t mind hearing live!!
That’s more like it boys
Well I think for both tours. Iris is the perfect song which has a very powerful story of the innocence period. I think you have to include iris in this tour again. Maybe Bono will use it in another context
Honestly, that clip does make me excited to see what they’ll do with the visuals on this tour. I think the version of Iris they’re rehearsing is different to the one in 2015.
One thing I’m pretty sure of. The augmented reality is going to bring these stories to life in a way never seen before...
It’s interesting. As you say I think Bonaroo was a big reason to play it, and obviously it stuck. Wonder when it would have made an appearance in the tour had they not have played Bonaroo
Not sure of the exact show but it probably was Seattle as I remember hearing about it very early on in the tour.
It made me laugh because I could totally picture Bono doing that!
What are they looking at in terms of when they change the set similar to adding Vertigo into the mix halfway through the JT tour last year?
Are they receiving nightly reviews from their team, looking at online review, getting special fan feedback, or is simply how they feel the shows are going?
I wouldn't be so sure just yet. How many times have U2 rehearsed a song regularly in the weeks leading up to a tour and abandoned ship in the live shows? Drowning Man anyone?
I know, shame there's no Zoo Station in the mix at the moment, It kind of gets me thinking that they could go ahead with the Zoo TV 2.0 tour in 2021, the less AB they play on this tour the better chance of that tour I reckon
I agree, i'll be shocked and disappointed if they don't play Red Flag Day at least once this tour, that'll get the crowd bouncing. Also I wonder what they'll do with it live
From looking at that running Order I hope it’s not the actual set list. While there are still a few little gems in there there’s not enough deep cuts in there. It still feels like a hit heavy set list. And where is “Streets”?
I’ve even more surprised to see the absense of Love Is Bigger Than...
