I had to buy some SJ1 seats last minute as I can't stand for 3 hours tonight (long story) so I now have two GA's available. I'd like to get just what I paid for them, $100 each. Message me if you need them!
I hurt my back over the weekend and no longer want to stand so I picked up some first deck seats this morning. So I now have two GA's if anyone is still looking, message me!
I'll play but I have to start with my 4th fave album as I consider The Unforgettable Fire, Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby perfect front to back:
a] Wild Honey
b] Moment of Surrender
c] Moment of Surrender any day of the week.
I guess the difference is as a rock music fan, I loved Voodoo Lounge and Bridges to Babylon. Well, Bridges ti Babylon more than Voodoo Lounge, but hey, it's the fricking Rolling Stones! But I do remember that all the critics tore apart anything the Stones did back then. I remember one...
Beautiful song. It was really bugging me what the verse melody (particularly in the 1st verse) reminded me of. After 3 listens and then humming it over and over... the vocal melody in the verse is very reminiscent of the verse melody in "6 months in a leaky boat" by Split Enz to me. And that's...
This song is incredible. Listening this morning in the car, it brought me to tears. Emotionally raw, with a buildup reminiscent of Pearl Jam's "Sirens"
Well that bites. I was able to get 2 GA using the verified fan presale on Monday but I had to reject a bunch of tickets before I landed them. The whole process is fishy.
It kinda reminds me of "Salome" in it's verse melody. On initial listen or two, it sounds like it would have been a b-side 20 years ago. Which is OK, I love their b-sides, but I feel The Blackout should have been the lead single.
