Someone needs to find Edge a new pedal to play with. When's the last time a u2 song made you go "that's a cool guitar sound, how is he playing that" For me, it goes back to No Line. I remember watching the Letterman shows on youtube to see how Edge was playing those songs. And I didn't really...
I got 2 xl tees at the show in October, ordered 2 more off u2.com this year. All 4 shrunk enough to notice after a couple washings, while my 2 zooropa 30 xl shirts from the web sale are fine using the same washing methods. Slightly annoying.
The wide angle shot of the whole crowd bouncing in unison as the OoC cranks back up after the 500 pound story. Goosebumps every time. Bono's mic drop at the end of Bad, also goosebumps. Hmmmmmmm . Slane by a smidge.
Yes, there is a fan run line. yes it is followed by the venue. No you don't HAVE to participate. Just show up and get behind them, either at preshow lineup or morning of wristband line.
It's still a really good show, even with the static setlist of R&H songs. AIWIY, AOH, and Desire are good sing a longs for casuals and LRM is kinda the political statement song. Most people only see 1 show and there's still lots of casuals attending for the venue. I know we all want deep cuts...
zoo station is just inside the entrance to the grand canal shops off the strip side , but.....nearer to the Palazzo side. From street level there is a big LOVE sign in the lobby. Zoo is right around the right side of the sign.
Yeah, I hopped on TM yesterday (10/27) after work 4pm Eastern and there were many many many good 100s seats listed at normal $500 price for that night's show. I'm talking prime middle sections in the first few rows. Couldn't believe it, but those are definitely production crew holdbacks being...
Have to admit, I was a bit skeptical of the demand for more shows at higher prices. A quick peek on TM this afternoon and looks like all the new date have been picked clean except for overhangs and some platinums. Incredible show is really generating buzz. Glad I was lucky enough to see it. Keep...
The risk with secondary market is the seller has to send you the tix by showtime. On show day, some of the larger re-sellers may not be monitoring all their accounts anymore.
Ha no idea those were SOS lyrics as I haven't bothered to listen to more than 10 seconds of any SOS tune. I had just assumed it was Bono being Bono with lyrics.
