POP on a set of good headphones or speakers is sublime. it really irks me that this band and a lot of the fans think it sucks because of all the weirdness that surrounded it. unfinished or not, that album kicks ass.

Pop is probably the U2 record I've listened to the most in the past five years. It is phenomenal.

So it turns out I'm going to be in Vegas in October, and I want to buy a ticket to the show on Friday October 20. However, I'm just now finding out that the re-sell for these shows is very different. Does anyone have any idea how to navigate this?

GA must be done through the ticket exchange.
Regular seats can be done through any second hand ticket market... your stubhubs and what not.
You've got plenty of time - can also just make a post on the Sphere section looking for the date you want in hopes of finding something at face value

Speaking of U2, I found it very funny that in one of the interviews Bono did for his book, he said that Mofo should have sounded like Led Zeppelin, and that he thinks they should re-visit it live to do that at some point. I'll bet it comes out sounding like Stand Up Comedy if they try that.

They were not shooting for it at the time, his point was basically that they were too obsessed with making a dance album and produced the song improperly.
I think it was during the Vertigo Tour? Probably dumped it when they briefly brought back Discotheque instead.

It was during Vertigo. 3rd leg. It came really close to fruition - the plan was to have a Pop encore akin to the ZooTV one (Mofo and Discotheque instead of Zoo Station and The Fly).
