 The forum crashed as I was posting that, awesome!

Warning though, it's... different. REALLY different. U2 with electronics. It's pretty damn interesting!

Eeeeeee!

PS, I guess Larry's Kraftwerk-referencing look and kit in the video shots all come clear now!

Weldy, if you click on that link and then open iTunes from the link within, it will take you to the song. :)

Its like U2 trying to pull of a Depeche Mode, and ending in a silly pop song. This one really has to grow on me ...

I'm really exited about them picking up electronics again, don't get me wrong. But this is just to mellow for me. I hope it was a leftover from the album, a hint to them maybe using more electro and hopefully we will hear something better , catchier and some more "Ooomph and Unf" on the new album, whenever its going to be released.

Bono said in an interview this morning that they are about to kick it off the album, so maybe they are viewing this as a weaker one?

I guess I misunderstood that quote. He said they have another song to kick off the album, ie first single. Where's my coffee?

I seem to be the only one no instantly liking it , apart from the "lyrics suck" callers! But i'm happy having my own opinion about it. There is so much use of electro out there these days. To pop out in a good way , imho you need a little bit more than these sounds.
